As a member-owner of Latitude 32 Credit Union, you should know that every decision we make is for the benefit of the membership as a whole. We are a not-for-profit financial institution that stays true to “not for profit, not for charity, but for service.” We do our best to keep operational costs of your credit union low, but it is necessary to evaluate expenses from time to time.
Each year, we print and mail over 125,200 pages of statements, which is very costly to the credit union.
Starting June 1, 2016 we will begin charging a $5 Paper Statement Fee. With our continued investments in technology, this will not be an issue for most of our member-owners. To help make sure that we live up to our promise of offering a Better Banking Attitude, we don’t want this decision to be a burden. There is one easy way to avoid the fee, and that is by enrolling in eStatements.
Not only is our eStatement program environmentally friendly and secure; eStatements are normally available to members by the 2nd or 3rd day of the month, whereas paper statements can take up to 7 days to be received. If you are already receiving eStatements, you will not be charged this fee.
Please note, members’ accounts will not be charged the Paper Statement Fee as long as the primary owner of the account is over the age of 65.
How do I sign up for eStatements?
Log in to your online banking account. Once logged in:
- Click Additional Services
- Click Products and Services
- Click eStatements
- Agree to the terms and sign up
