Debit Card FAQs

Yes, all checking account holders in good standing will receive a FREE VISA debit card.
Once your debit card order is processed, you should receive your card by mail within 7-10 business days. Please note, the card comes in a plain white envelope with an activation sticker to call in to activate and select your PIN.
To activate your card, please call the number on the activation sticker. Immediately sign the signature panel on the back of your card. A signed card is a protected card. An unsigned card is not a valid card.
Call the number on the back of your card anytime to change your PIN.
The card expiration date is located on the front of your card. Mid-month of the month your card expires, you will receive a new card in the mail- in a plain white envelope. You will not receive a new PIN as the PIN will not change.
To make sure that your traveling goes smoothly, we recommend that you log into your account and under the tab marked secured forms use the drop down and click on secure email. In the email please let us know the dates and locations you are traveling; also include if this is for your debit cards and or Visa Credit Card.

If your card has been lost or stolen, please contact the credit union immediately at 843.556.4809.  To get a new card you can either stop by and sign for a new one or login to Online Banking and request a new card via the secure form.

Verified by VISA adds protection against unauthorized use of your card when you shop at participating online retailers.
